From the East

My brothers, as we move into September, it is my pleasure to inform you all that the PSA agreement to sell the land to the Torah Academy has been received and is being reviewed by Brother Gladstone as we speak. We will be having our final vote to pass the sell agreement on September 15th 2022. If the Brothers of Boca-Delray approve the agreement, it will be sent to Grand Lodge for their approval. Again I want to thank all the Bothers for their support for the deal. Especially the Committee that work so hard to assist in seeing this to this point.

As always, I look forward to seeing you all at our next meeting.

God Bless

Fraternally,

W∴ Anthony W. Denton

From the Secretary

Fraternal Greetings Brothers. It is certainly appreciated that the Worshipful

Master has permitted summer attire during these scorching months. Thank you

Worshipful Master for approving it.

It was a pleasure observing R∴H∴ Pastor conduct Proficiencies in the EA and MM

Degree. Petitions continue to be turned in as we receive many online inquiries

from gentlemen interested in becoming a Mason. Brother Ferrari is prompt in

reaching out to them offering information and an invitation to the lodge. Our

wonderful website is meaningless without these men receiving a reply quickly.

W∴ Zimmerman and his wife Iris finally left Maryland as she was in a favorable

condition to return home after her delicate surgery. Brethren have been

donating to the relief fund in Lodge, as well as on the Go-Fundme site

https://gofund.me/3f7ba0bf. If you prefer to mail a check to the lodge, please

mail it to our PO Box. Boca Delray 171 PO Box 811113 Boca Raton, FL 33438-1113.

Second Late Notices have been mailed out to Brothers who have not yet paid their

2022 dues. Brothers, as Freemasons, I feel that I should never have to send out

late notices as we all upon the Altar of Freemasonry while taking our Obligations

have promised to pay dues promptly. Also, after reading the Lodge’s By-laws

which states that dues will be paid promptly, we have also signed the By-Laws

book to that effect.

A reminder, kindly send all mail to the Lodge PO Box and not our physical address. Our PO Box info is above. Also keep the Secretary informed of any mailing

address, email, or phone number changes.

My Brothers,

With the importance of education in the Ritual work of our fraternity,

we are blessed to have such a strong District instructing team available

to help. We are excited to provide a School of Instruction every Saturday

morning at Harmonia Lodge including at Open Books every third

Saturday (WITH A GOURMET BREAKFAST FOR $8.00) prepared by chef

Lou. We will also be providing a School of Instruction on the first Monday

of the month at every MMA meeting. We are delighted and eager now

to welcome ALL Masons, that includes Entered Apprentices and Fellow

Crafts to Open Books with an RSVP to me from their Worshipful Master

or Secretary of his Lodge. Please contact me if you have any questions,

or comments, or would like information on receiving a proficiency card for

the hard work you have put in. We are also now in the process of

putting together a District competition team in the Fellow Craft Degree,

please contact me to join.

Upcoming District 25

Master Mason Degree teams

(part 1)

My Brothers,

The statewide Degree competition for this year will be held for Master Mason Degree (part 1). Our goal is to have multiple teams competing from the 25th Masonic District. These teams can be from each Lodge, or we can have multiple Lodges getting together to form one team. If you are not totally proficient in this Degree, please do not

be worried. We will have multiple practices at different Lodges around the District to get everyone up to speed. At these practices, we will be having in-depth instruction on all the ritual and esoteric work in part 1 of Master Mason Degree as mandated by the Committee on Work. Any Master Mason in good standing is eligible to participate, and it will provide you an enhanced knowledge of the ritual and floorwork of Master Mason Degree as well as an increase in comradery with the Brothers of our District. Please reach out to me if you have any interest in joining the Degree teams and representing the 25th Masonic District.

Fraternally & Sincerely,

R:.H:. Sal Musumeci

The Grand Lodge of Florida developed this comprehensive course of study to instruct Brothers on the proper procedures and responsibilities of each Lodge Officer, and how to conduct the important business of their particular Lodge. Courses are presented by the District Chairman, and a certificate is issued upon successful completion of all 15

modules.

The Grand Lodge of Florida provides Master Mason Examinations to be open book type exams designed to give any Master Mason the opportunity to increase his knowledge of some of the Ancient Tenets, Rules, and Regulations of Masonry. They contain a mixture of multiple choice, True or False, or essay questions which should be answered on the answer sheet, as provided in the exam downloads.

The Grand Lodge of Florida encourages all members of the Craft to further their knowledge of Lodge operation, especially those concerning the Elected and Appointed

Officers of each particular Lodge. The Lodge Officers Training program was designed to educate and test your knowledge of Lodge procedures, business, penal code, and other areas. Let There Be Light
