From the East
Brethren, First let me say Happy Halloween to you all even if you don’t celebrate it. Many of have children, and they sure love it. I hope you are all ready for the holiday season as we enter into November.
We have a lot going on this month. November 17th, we will be holding an open meeting for all who would like to join us, Masons and non Masons, for a memorial service for our beloved Past Master R∴ W∴ Bob Langford. Due to Covid, we were not able to put a proper memorial service together for R ∴ W∴ Langford. It will be a great night to give this Brother his due.
As you all know we are approaching the deadline for all who are interested in running for an elected office. You must have your petition in by the sound of the gavel on the first meeting of December.
God Bless you all and be safe Fraternally W:. Anthony W. Denton

From the South
Greetings from the South, Brethren!
We are in elections month. Remember, we are Masons twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week. We should always behave as Masons, even on social media. I encourage our Brothers to exercise their right to vote and respect different opinions. We should construct an environment of high moral respect, always aiming to be a better man daily.
Elections in our Lodge are also coming up. Tell us if you are interested in running for any position or entering the line.

From the Secretary
Greetings Brethren, October is the month that upcoming year’s dues statements
are mailed out. If you have not paid your 2023 dues yet, you are one year in
arrears. On a brighter note, Brethren have already been sending in their 2023
dues and there has been many remittals via Cash Pay or other E-Payment venues.
If you wish to learn more about electronic payments, please ask Brother Salles or
email him at rafaeldesalles@me.com
Through Brethren’s donations, as well as a general donation from the lodge, we
were able to send Grand Lodge a $1,000.00 check for hurricane relief. Hopefully
our donation along with other lodges’ donations can help some needy Brothers
and their families.
We have been seeing an increase in collation room rentals lately. This is an easy
and beneficial way for the lodge to gain income. If you know of anyone who may
be interested in renting the collation room, please discuss it with Brother Ferrari,
he can provide details.
The second meeting in Nov. will be a Memorial Evening in Memory of R:.W:. Bob
Langford. Brothers, please try to attend this memorial in tribute to a fine Mason
who has done so much for our Lodge, the District and Jurisdiction. This meeting
will be open to family and friends. Brethren, please wear a dark colored jacket or
suit, no casual dress please.

My Brothers,
With the importance of education in the Ritual work of our fraternity, we are blessed to have such a strong District instructing team available to help. We are excited to provide a School of Instruction every Saturday morning at Harmonia Lodge including at Open Books every third Saturday (WITH A GOURMET BREAKFAST FOR $8.00) prepared by chef
Lou. We will also be providing a School of Instruction on the first Monday of the month at every MMA meeting. We are delighted and eager now to welcome ALL Masons, that includes Entered Apprentices and Fellow Crafts to Open Books with an RSVP to me from their Worshipful Master or Secretary of his Lodge. Please contact me if you have any questions, or comments, or would like information on receiving a proficiency card for
the hard work you have put in. We are also now in the process of putting together a District competition team in the Fellow Craft Degree, please contact me to join.
Upcoming District 25
Master Mason Degree teams
(part 1)
My Brothers,
The statewide Degree competition for this year will be held for Master Mason Degree (part 1). Our goal is to have multiple teams competing from the 25th Masonic District. These teams can be from each Lodge, or we can have multiple Lodges getting together to form one team. If you are not totally proficient in this Degree, please do not be worried. We will have multiple practices at different Lodges around the District to get everyone up to speed. At these practices, we will be having in-depth instruction on all the ritual and esoteric work in part 1 of Master Mason Degree as mandated by the Committee on Work. Any Master Mason in good standing is eligible to participate, and it will provide you an enhanced knowledge of the ritual and floorwork of Master Mason Degree as well as an increase in comradery with the Brothers of our District. Please reach out to me if you have any interest in joining the Degree teams and representing the 25th Masonic District.
Strength in Numbers
Power in Education
From the District Instructor
My Brothers,
In order to improve your Masonic knowledge try taking the Master Mason 1 2 3 exams On the Grand Lodge website it’s an excellent method to learn to use the Masonic Digest and Mentors Manual. Just complete the three Master Mason Examinations, offered by the Grand Lodge. These examinations have proven very popular as they produce more
friendships, more knowledge of Florida masonry, better informed Brothers and an increase in Lodge attendance.
Also, they are MANDATORY for anyone sitting in the chair of Worshipful Master, Senior
Warden or Junior Warden.
Follow the instructions below:
1. Go to grandlodgefl.com
2. Click on “Education”
3. Take Exams 1, 2 & 3

The Grand Lodge of Florida developed this comprehensive course of study to instruct Brothers on the proper procedures and responsibilities of each Lodge Officer, and how to conduct the important business of their particular Lodge. Courses are presented by the District Chairman, and a certificate is issued upon successful completion of all 15
modules.
The Grand Lodge of Florida provides Master Mason Examinations to be open book type exams designed to give any Master Mason the opportunity to increase his knowledge of some of the Ancient Tenets, Rules, and Regulations of Masonry. They contain a mixture of multiple choice, True or False, or essay questions which should be answered on the answer sheet, as provided in the exam downloads.
The Grand Lodge of Florida encourages all members of the Craft to further their knowledge of Lodge operation, especially those concerning the Elected and Appointed
Officers of each particular Lodge. The Lodge Officers Training program was designed to educate and test your knowledge of Lodge procedures, business, penal code, and other areas. Let There Be Light
