From the East
My Brothers, The notion of "making a good man better” is not a journey that has an ending, yet only new beginnings. We as Masons strive to be that smooth ashier, but remember this is in actuality an unattainable goal. No man who can boast to be pure of sin. Knowing we will never be fully pure in heart and that we are all fallible humans, we as Masons still wake up every day and work towards that unattainable goal by implementing those lessons we have learned in our day to day activities.
I would like to take a moment of your time to discuss the importance of diversity and Inclusion. We as Mason’s should always lead by example in our communities and especially in our Lodges. There is NO room in our great Fraternity for anything less. Remember Brothers, Lead by example. Teach young Masons how to be better men by you example. Below you will find two links to two short videos about diversity and inclusion. I hope you will watch them and learn from them.
We are going to discuss the Torah academy proposal next meeting and have a vote on the first meeting of next month July 07.
God Bless.
Fraternally,
W∴ Anthony W. Denton

From the South
Greetings from the South, Brethren!
This was a sorrowful moment for our Country when we had the racist shooting in Buffalo, NY, losing ten lives, and only two weeks after the shooting at an Elementary school in Uvalde, TX, losing 21 lives, being 19 children. As a dad of two children in Elementary school and a husband of a Mid school worker, I think every day if they are safe. I want to offer prayers for all families involved. Every shooting is evil, cowardly, and horrific, but shooting at an Elementary school, there is no word to express the feeling. I hope our Country can act together and implement measures to avoid future mass shootings.
Prayers, thoughts, and action.
All the best,
J.W. Rafael Salles
From the Secretary
Fraternal Greetings Brothers.
First and foremost, Boca Delray Lodge is very proud of our Brother Right Worshipful Robert Estell Jr. who competed with all lodges within the State of Florida and won the
Entered Apprentice Lecture Competition. This is really a challenge not many Masons can achieve. We are very proud of R:.W:. Estell and appreciate all he does for our Masonic Home and Masonry.
Brethren, the same story, dues payments for 2022. For those who have not paid your dues, letters will be mailed the first week of June informing you that you are six months in arrears. Kindly send in your payment promptly and maintain a good name in Lodge - remember your obligation and oaths.
Our Senior Warden has been planning his year in the East for 2023 and has some interesting items on the agenda. Not wanting to “spill the beans”, events that we have not seen at Boca Delray in many years. Many of our Mason’s that have been raised in the last five years will certainly enjoy the events.
R:.H:. Musumeci is still available if anyone wants to purchase a lodge chair as a memorial or in honor of a special Mason or friend. Donations are $50.00 and a custom plaque will be attached to the chair.
A special congratulations to Brother Michael Strauss as he recently got married. He’s been a different person since meeting his betrothed, if anyone deserves a little happiness in life, it certainly is our Brother Michael.
A number of our newly Raised Brother, those going through the Degrees and several in the petitioning stage have been very active in lodge. Pitching in with Degree work, in the kitchen and with street cleanups. It’s very rewarding to see their involvement and knowing we have a strong future at Boca Delray 171.
Lastly Brethren, contact the Secretary of the lodge with any address -email- phone number changes, membership or dues questions. The Worshipful Master does not have this information or maintain these records and is usually involved in planning meetings and communicating with the District Deputy, District Instructor and our sister Lodges
Fraternally,
R:.W:. Mike Sinatra

The Grand Lodge of Florida developed this comprehensive course of study to instruct Brothers on the proper procedures and responsibilities of each Lodge Officers, and how to conduct the important business of their particular Lodge. Courses are presented by the District Chairman, and a certificate is issued upon successful completion of all 15
modules.
The Grand Lodge of Florida provides Master Mason Examinations to be open book type exams, designed to give any Master Mason the opportunity to increase his knowledge of some of the Ancient Tenets, Rules and Regulations of Masonry. They contain a mixture of multiple choice, True or False, or essay questions which should be answered on the answer sheet, as provided in the exam downloads.
The Grand Lodge of Florida encourages all members of the Craft to further their knowledge of Lodge operation, especially those concerning the Elected and Appointed
Officers of each particular Lodge. The Lodge Officers Training program was designed to educate and test your knowledge of Lodge procedures, business, penal code, and other areas. Let There Be Light
