From the East

Brethren. I hope this message finds you well. As we approach July 4th and prepare to celebrate this great nation of our, I ask that you all say a prayer for all those who serve this great nation of ours, military and first responders. Remember that there is a very thin line between Freedom and Tyranny and we must be vigilant against those who would cause harm to Lady Liberty. Lastly my Brothers please be safe as you and your families venture out to watch the fireworks displays.

I’d like to thank all who showed up to discuss the proposal from the Torah Academy to purchase the plot of land. As stated in the June Trestleboard Board we will be having the vote on July 7th to accept the “letter of Intent” I hope to see you all there. Remember on July 2nd we will be having a Master Mason Degree. I hope you can make it out to that. Our Degree team has been working diligently and I’m sure will put on a great Degree.

Fraternally,

W∴ Anthony W. Denton

From the South

Greetings from the South, Brethren!

In my year as J.W., I focused on providing quality dinner for our Brothers, mainly after the pandemic years when we needed to close the Lodge and couldn't benefit from getting together. I must share that the dinners are above my expectations, and I need to thank Brothers Sam and Paul for their direct involvement and help with the food we are eating. Also, I want to thank my Stewards Brothers Nick and Jesse and W∴ Hal for the great help on the dinners. I am lucky I have this incredible team of Brothers to help. Thank you!

From the Secretary

Greetings Brethren, I thank our Worshipful Master for approving summer dress

code for a while as the temperature soars.

Please remember that on August 18 th , our second meeting of the month we will

have an awards evening. Come out and see Brother Starr receive his 60-year

service award and our newly raised Master Mason’s receive their Certificates.

R:.W:. Rob Estell is pleased to present his Entered Apprentice Lecture Award that

he received at the Grand Communication to the lodge so that it can be mounted

on a wall of honor for all to see. This was no easy feat to accomplish. I promise

that Brother Estell will have more to offer Boca Delray, the District and

Jurisdiction.

Those who have not paid their 2022 dues will receive their first late notice. I

should never have to mail out a late notice, as we all signed a Petition which state

we would pay our dues in a timely manner. Also a few letters were mailed to

Emeritus Brothers asking them to provide facts as to why they should retain

Emeritus status.

Much of what a Secretary and Worshipful Master does is predicated in our Digest

of Masonic Law as a directive that must be followed. Every year Brethren can

present new directive, to eliminate a directive or modify a directive. This is done

at Grand Lodge and is called Legislation. In fact, our senior officers recently

voted on the same at our recent Grand Communication. Our Florida Digest of

Masonic Law is actually a work in progress even though it is well over one

hundred years old. Masonry is what we refer to an Ancient, although in reference

to when it was founded but fluid in that some changes are made over the years.

Some changes could never be made such as a candidate being an agnostic or

atheist.

I thank Brother Carlos Pulgar, our Tiler for hosting the Automotive Fundraiser at

his shop here in Boca Raton. Several Brothers drop by for oil changes and other

minor repairs on Saturday June 18 th . If you would like more info on Brother

Carlos’ shop email me at mastermason33@gmail.com .

Fraternally,

R:.W:. Mike Sinatra

Secretary

The Grand Lodge of Florida developed this comprehensive course of study to instruct Brothers on the proper procedures and responsibilities of each Lodge Officers, and how to conduct the important business of their particular Lodge. Courses are presented by the District Chairman, and a certificate is issued upon successful completion of all 15

modules.

The Grand Lodge of Florida provides Master Mason Examinations to be open book type exams, designed to give any Master Mason the opportunity to increase his knowledge of some of the Ancient Tenets, Rules and Regulations of Masonry. They contain a mixture of multiple choice, True or False, or essay questions which should be answered on the answer sheet, as provided in the exam downloads.

The Grand Lodge of Florida encourages all members of the Craft to further their knowledge of Lodge operation, especially those concerning the Elected and Appointed

Officers of each particular Lodge. The Lodge Officers Training program was designed to educate and test your knowledge of Lodge procedures, business, penal code, and other areas. Let There Be Light
